Druins (part 3)

Here's the next part!

Tori continued to wave her hand over her cookie. A spark of fire flashing over the cookie now and then. Bekki just sat there miserably watching her friend's new found power. Then, just as a spark flew over the cookie Bekki's sister, Genie walked in the kitchen. She gave the spark an udder look of disgust. Tori threw her arms around Genie.
"You saw it! You saw it! You saw it!" Tori screamed excitedly. Bekki laughed as a look of disgust spread over her sister's face. Genie had always hated her sister and Tori for getting the Druin trait when she had not. Tori let go of Genie, and she instantly started yelling at her. Mrs. Fields stopped her after about 30 seconds and sent her to the room Genie and Bekki shared.
"Okay Girls!" Mrs. Fields said, "I have a tea party to attend so Bekki you're in charge of Genie and Trenton when he gets home!" Bekki nodded, and pushed a button on the coffee maker. Mrs. Fields turned and left. Tori set her cookie sparking again.
"Want to spend the night?" Bekki asked.
"What are you having for dinner?" Tori responded.
"We're going to order pizza and then go out for ice cream!" Bekki joked, knowing what her friend thought of pizza and ice cream.
"I'll be here!" Tori exclaimed, "I'm going to grab my stuff and do my homework!" She ran out of the kitchen. Bekki ran upstairs to her room and grabbed her blanket, a set of PJs and a flashlight. Genie was in the bathroom. Thank goodness! Bekki thought. Genie was probably in a bad mood, and she didn't want to mess with her. When she got downstairs Trenton was sitting at the counter helping himself to the none chared cookie.
"Hola!" he said.
"Wilkomen!" Bekki greeted.
"German?"
"Si!" Bekki laughed. Trenton joined in. Bekki had always gotten along with her brother. She poured herself a cup of coffee and pulled out her homework. "Stupid Geometry!" she thought. Her brother went upstairs. Bekki was just about to start Geometry when her little sister showed up.
"Genie upstairs!" Bekki scolded determined to do her homework before Tori came back.
"You're blanket is gone!" Genie announced, ignoring her sister's command.
"I know!" Bekki awnsered annoyed.
"is Tori spending the night?"
"Yes! And we're sleeping in the loft!"
Genie danced happily and ran back upstairs. Bekki turned back to her homework and drank the rest of her coffee. She shoved her now completed homework in her bag, and called the pizza place. Tori entered the kitchen.
"Let's go!' Tori giggled. The girls ran into the living room where a wooden ladder was plastered to a wall. Bekki went first, and folded the futon into a very comfy queen-sized bed. Tori threw up both her and Bekki's stuff and Bekki caught them. Tori climbed up after everything wlse was up. The loft was an interesting room. The outside wall was tilted inward and all the walls were a dark blue. There was a railing where you could overlook the living room and kitchen. The floor was a black linolium, and there was a mini fridge with a microwave in one corner. There was a big futon in the middle of the room that could be a couch, recliner, or bed. There was a projector on one wall and a screen on the other. The projector projected both TV and computer signals depending on what channel you were tuned too. Bekki's parents were looking into making this her room since Genie had almost killed her twice in her sleep. Bekki personally didn't care since she thought Genie, however insane she might be didn't have the smarts or the guts to actually kill her.
"Hey Bekki!" Tori called pulling Bekki out of her thoughts. She had a secretive smile on here face like she had a secrest she couldn't wait to tell.
"Let's tell horror stories until the pizza guy comes," Tori said. She now looked like Christmas had come early. Bekki sighed. Tori could look pretty scary when she was about to tell scary story, but Bekki had never heard Tori tell a story that scary.
"Ok, Tori," Bekki awnsered as she laid down on the futon. Tori giggled and began her story.

Peace, Kelsey
