Druins! (part 10)

The next part! ohhh!

"Where’s dad?" Bekki asked absent-mindedly.
"Out of town again," Mrs. Fields grunted. She was suddenly chopping the vegetables a lot harder than she should have. Bekki winced, and was suddenly mad at herself for asking. Her mom had always gotten upset when her father went out of town more that once a week, which was pretty often. Her parents had been on rocks for ages and it was all Bekki, Trenton, and Genie could do to try to slow down what was coming. Bekki suddenly felt down, and her mom could defiantly tell.
"But that’s okay!" Mrs. Fields continued. Bekki gave her "I don’t believe it" look.
"No really, I’m shipping Trenton to his friend’s house on Friday, and we’ll have a Girl’s night out," Mrs. Fields shared. Bekki pretending she was choking and fell on the floor.
"Bekki, stop the dramatics!" Mrs. Fields scolded, but peering onto the floor she found Bekki sleeping soundly. She laughed and wondered why it took her so long. She normally always fell asleep about the same time as Tori did. She finished up dinner, and woke her daughter up.
"Eat and then bed!" Mrs. Field commanded. After a bit of groaning Bekki got off the floor, and grabbed a chicken sandwich as well as a salad. Genie and Trenton came down moments later, both still looking a little shocked and they ate. As soon as she was done she headed to bed and Genie took her chance. She quietly slipped in her room and searched Bekki’s side of the room for that stupid Druin book. She got to Bekki’s shopping bags and found the Druin book official bag. She knew that Bekki must have had the book at the mall and ran Bekki’s purse. She emptied it on the floor, and was sadly disappointed when all she found was a bit of cash, make-up, pens, and some weird walnut.
"A walnut?" Genie mouthed. She looked at her sleeping sister curiously. She turned back to the walnut, and looked for any clue as to why it might be in her sister’s purse. Then, she saw it. There were some shiny gold letters on the walnut. She grabbed a microscope from Trenton’s room, and put the walnut under it. After some adjusting she could finally read the words on the walnut.
"The Druin Book!" she yelped and them covered her mouth quickly in fear that Bekki would wake up.
"Now how do I open it?" Genie whispered to Bekki as if she would murmur the answer to her, and not ask why. Genie turned back to the book, and thought for a second. Duh! She grabbed the book and set it on the bed next to Bekki. She grabbed her sister’s hand and waved it over the book. It instantly grew, and Genie pulled the book in the bathroom. Her bedroom door had been removed after her first plan to kill Bekki, and a curtain was put up. The second time her plan had failed her curtain left. Genie turned back to the book and opened it to the enemy section.
"Do they have any phone numbers in here?" she yelled at the book. The pages of the book-starting turning until it finally stopped. A section glowed at the bottom of the page. She looked at the glowing section. It read:
Looking for the perfect place to execute a prank?
Try a Druin’s #1 enemy!
1234 Main Street Rating, VA
(555) 555-5556
"Perfect!" she marveled. She snuck downstairs and grabbed the house phone, sneaking into the bathroom again she dialed the number.
"Hello?" Genie asked.
The next day at school was like any other, but the romance between Tori and David seemed down a little. Bekki blamed herself. She decided to confront Tori about it next time she got to the bathroom, and sure enough during lunch she found her opportunity.
"Tori?" Bekki asked. Her voice was small and quiet. Tori jerked her head around. She had recognized her friend’s we need to talk voice and stopped what she was doing.
"Yeah," Tori smiled meekly. She had a feeling what this was about.
" Its all my fault!" Bekki cried, "Sorry." Tori wrapped her arms around her friend and then pulled away. She was now staring her friend in the eye with a look of understanding.
"What’s wrong?" Tori said briskly slipping into her I understand but its not worth it attitude.
"I asked you about David and now you don’t like him as much!" Bekki cried some more.
"God!" Tori scoffed, "You are so stupid! It’s not your fault, and even if it was its not like we broke up or anything. You have nothing to be sorry about!" Bekki lowered her head and walked out of the bathroom into the cafeteria and took her seat next to David.
"What’s wrong?" he asked. He looked genuinely upset that she had been crying.
"Nothing!" she murmured, throwing her hair behind her ear. He grabbed her hand. She didn’t believe he would believe her, but she couldn’t explain it to him or he would defiantly break up with Tori, and that was the last thing Bekki wanted. She suddenly had a strong urge to tell David everything, about her species, her lack of power, everything, but bit her lip. Tori walked over and David quickly dropped Bekki’s hand. Tori eyed David’s hand for a moment before sitting down, and starting a conversation with her friends.
"You mind if I sit here?" a voice came from behind Bekki. She turned in her seat to see one of the cutest guys she had ever seen.
"Unless it’s a bad time," he said taking note of Bekki’s now red eyes.
"Oh... no It’s okay!" she smiled and gestured for him to sit down. He walked to the other side of the table and took a spot next to Tori. David gave her a look from beside her. She couldn’t read it. Tori seemed oblivious to the fact that there was a newcomer and treated him like an old friend.
"I’m Bekki!" Bekki introduced herself.
"Jason," he introduced himself.
"David!"
"Theresa.... Call me Tori." Jason nodded and shook David’s hand. Jason had brown spiky hair, and green eyes. He was tall and pretty strong looking. He had on baggy jeans, a black shirt with a yellow smiley face on it, a pair of all white tennis shoes, an all black wristband, and a dog tag hung around his neck. The bell rang from above their heads. After turning in their trays they headed for class. Bekki and David ran off to Social Studies, David to Language Arts, and Jason had to finish his registration forms in the Library.
"I don’t think she likes me," David whispered.
"Who?" asked Bekki knowing very well whom he was talking about. David gave her sad eyes, and then turned his gaze to the floor.
"Of course she likes you!" Bekki sighed, "You guys have been friends since kindergarten."
"You know what I mean," David murmured. Bekki closed her eyes and prayed for a way out of the conversation she was having. Nothing happened. He looked at her again. His eyes were pale.
"I...." Bekki hesitated, "maybe... Maybe... Maybe she does." David sighed. Bekki swallowed and drifted her eyes to the floor. Davis followed suit.
"I’m sorry," he said softly. Bekki bit her lip.
"For what?"
"It wasn’t fair for me to ask you."
"Don’t be silly!" he heard her say. Her voice was soft, scared, and searching. He had a sudden urge to wrap his arms around her, but threw off the temptation and held the door open for her as she walked into 5th period. That night Bekki and Tori had an interesting IM conversation:

Firechick: Isn’t Jason so hot?
Luv2laugh: Tori!
Firechick: what?
Luv2laugh: you’re going out with David!
Firechick: so I’m not allowed to say he’s hot?
Luv2laugh: No!
Luv2laugh: Even though he is....
Firechick: So you admit it?
Luv2laugh: I never said I wouldn’t!
Firechick: lol
Luv2laugh: shut up!
Firechick: :-P
Luv2laugh: w/e... u no we can’t ever marry either of them.
Firechick: Yeah, well technically we could!
Luv2laugh: Our mothers would kill us!
Firechick: ok, maybe we can’t
Luv2laugh: Ur probably going to end up marrying Trenton!
Firechick: Never!
Luv2laugh: But he is one of the few Druin Trait characters.
Firechick: I no! But I don’t give a ****!
Luv2laugh: I no you don’t!
Firechick: I’ll marry a human if it kills me!
Luv2laugh: It will!
Firechick: I no!
Luv2laugh: lol!
Luv2laugh: have you ever noticed that we’re probably the only inter-species relations in the world?
Firechick: Isn’t that so awesome?
Luv2laugh: It’s creepy if you ask me!
Firechick: maybe... I g2g
Luv2laugh: bi!
Firechick: ttyl!

Bekki sat back in her chair, and closed out of the chat.
"That was unusually short!" she remarked to herself, "I wonder what she’s doing." She thought to herself about Tori. She was getting tired of thinking about her friend. She was about to walk out of the office when she heard yelling.
"You’re never home!" she heard her mother yelling, "Do you even CARE?"
"Of coarse I do!" her father’s voice thundered.
"Well you have one hell of a way showing it!" her mother shot back. She let go of the doorknob, and sat down in the office chair again. Her brother and sister slid in the room. Genie’s face had a large smile on it. Trenton looked like someone had just died.
"What’s with you guys?" Bekki smiled.
"If they get divorced I can move away with dad!" Genie sung, "Then I won’t have to be with you!"
"Shut up!" Trenton shot, "If they got divorced you know dad couldn’t take any of us!"’
"He’d take you," Bekki whispered softly. Trenton began softly crying, and Genie’s face darkened. They all knew it was true. Mr. Fields would never allow his son to live in a household full of women... even though technically he already did. Bekki threw her head in her hands. Trenton came over, and rubbed his sister’s back. The phone rang, and Bekki quickly picked it up. Trenton walked over to Genie and they pulled out a deck of cards.
"Hello?" Bekki questioned the phone.
"Um... Bekki?" a deep voice asked.
"Who is this?"
"Jason..." came the voice. Bekki’s heart did a double flip.
"How did you get my number?"
"Is that a bad thing?"
"No. Just curious."
"Oh...’
"Why did you call?"
"Oh right! I was wondering if the Spanish or German makes more sense to take."
"That’s an odd question!"
"I need to know!"
"Spanish!"
"Why?"
"I don’t know!"
"I need to know what coarse to take!"
"How did you get my number?"
"Bekki!"
"Jason."
"I’m going to come over if you don’t tell me!"
"You don’t have my address!"
"What makes you so sure?"
"Look now’s not a good time."
"Really?"
"Yeah... why?"
"Cause I’m already here."
"No you’re not!"
"Look out the window." Bekki opened up the blinds, screamed, and jumped back in suprise since Jason’s face was pressed against the window. Jason fell back laughing. Trenton and Genie took a hint, and left the room. Although, Genie looked like she really wanted to stay. Bekki opened up the window and crawled out to find Jason sprawled on the floor, laughing really hard! He raised his hand, and she effortlessly pulled him up.
"You’re strong!" he laughed. She joined in nervously and studied her hand. That should have been a lot harder for her. She shook her head, and slapped Jason, who was still laughing, upside the head.
"I told you Spanish!" she giggled.
"I know!" he answered, "I signed up already, but I wanted to hang out!"
"Then, you should go to Tori’s house!" Bekki pointed at a house kitty-corner from hers.
"She’s going out with David," he murmured hastily.
"So!" her voice trilled, "It’s not like your going to go out..." She paused realizing what he had just implied, "No! No! No! Absolutely not!" Jason laughed.
"It was worth a try!" he choked. She slapped him again, and he went sprawling on the floor. She stared at her hand. It wasn’t that she sent him on the floor. Sure, it was a little odd since she was no where near strong enough to push him over, but she hadn’t even touched him. Her hand had remained exactly 6 inches away from Jason all times.

Druins (part 9)

This one is the longest so far! And i was only going to write the beginning to this story. lol.

Meanwhile, Bekki was having a really hard time finding a pair of shoes she would actually wear. The store had a ton of really tacky running shoes, but their wasn’t much in the way of solid colors. She asked the sales person if they had any solid colored running shoes for the thousandth time, and for the thousandth time the salesman had brushed her off, and tried to talk her into buying the tackiest and most expensive running shoe they had. She finally decided that there was no way she would ever buy from this store, and left. She checked the nearest mall directory and to her dismay that was the last shoe store in the entire mall. She sighed and decided that she would just have to come back another day, but she didn’t necessarily have to go home. She smiled realizing she had the afternoon to her self and headed off to spend some cash at her favorite clothing store. After some good shopping she realized that the best place to get some gym shoes was probably in the Druin catalog. She headed towards the nearest bathroom, and when she had finally gotten a stall she pulled what looked like an unusually square walnut out of her purse. She placed flat in her left palm, and waved her right hand over the weird walnut. The walnut instantly grew, and it suddenly took the form of The Druin book. She looked up the catalog section in the book, and finding a perfect pair of shoes she pointed at the picture of them, and as if magic a hole appeared in the book. She stuffed in the appropriate amount of money, and her pair of shoes popped out of the hole.
"Can I have a bag to put these in?" she asked the hole. A few sounds later a paper bag popped out of the book. She threw the shoes in the bag and quickly closed the book. After returning it to its normal shape she stuffed it in her purse and left the stall, relieved that that awful chore was over. She decided to go home and left the mall with a smile on her face. When she got to her house the door was locked, and after a bit of knocking and nobody letting her in she went around back to climb up the ivy stem into her room. She had just climbed into the room when suddenly Genie came in. She was pulling David by his wrist.
"What are you doing here?" Genie asked she looked like she was about to blow up, "I thought you were at the mall!" Bekki shrugged.
" I got what I needed, so I came home but nobody would answer the door so I climbed up the ivy. I just got her!" she smiled. Genie cursed a bit and then left the room.
"She said she wanted to tell me something," David said looking after Genie storming down the hall.
"I'll bet she did," Bekki murmured to herself.
"What?" David asked clearly confused. Bekki rolled her eyes, gave the now dumb-founded David a hug and left the room. She could feel him following her, and she trampled down the hall to the master bedroom.
"Wh-" Bekki was suddenly stopped by David's hand over her mouth.
"It's okay!" Tori laughed, and throwing a shoe at David she added, "Now get to work you two." David looked as if someone had just told him that he had been wrong all these years and breathing was not a necessity. Trenton smiled at him.
"I calmed her down for you," he said matter of factly. Tori shot him a look and Trenton returned it. The foursome laughed, and got to work. They were about done when a little head popped in from the side of the door.
"Need any help?" Genie asked giggling as if she had just noticed they were cleaning, or that there was a mess in that room. Tori got up from her mess, and looked like she was about to slap her as hard as she did David, but to everyone’s suprise she gave her the biggest hug anyone had ever seen.
"You care!" Tori laughed.
"God!" Trenton moaned. Bekki elbowed him in the middle of his ribcage. He started to complain when Tori ran over and hugged him too. Genie was a stiff as a wooden board and seeing how stiff she was, Tori let go of Trenton.
"You okay?" Tori’s eyes grew big and she looked as if Genie had just died or something. She went over to Genie and shook her gently. Genie snapped out of her stiffness and began insulting Tori immediately. Tori rolled her eyes and threw a nearby shirt at Genie. Genie looked like she was about to tear up the shirt, and then she looked like she was about to fold it and put it away. After a moment she compromised and just threw the shirt on the ground. After about ten seconds she turned and left the room.
"What a suprise!" Trenton sarcastically added. Bekki was about to elbow him again when, as if he knew what was coming next threw his hand where she was going to elbow. Her elbow sunk harmlessly into his hand, and he grabbed it.
"Hey!" Bekki yelled. She sucker punched him with her other hand, and he looked amazed.
"You punched me!" he yelled. Bekki laughed.
"I think it’s an instinct," she cheered, and leaving him with his thoughts she grabbed the shirt Genie had dropped and put it away. Trenton recovered from his brief shock and went off to find Genie so they could talk about how weird Bekki and Tori could be. Tori, Bekki, and David finished up, and headed downstairs.
"Hey kids!" Mrs. Fields laughed as they entered the kitchen, "Y’all look tired. What have you been up to?"
"Nothing!" they chorused. Tori suddenly fell to the floor, and was asleep. Mrs. Fields and Bekki seemed unfazed. David looked slightly weirded out.
"Should we wake her up?" he asked, practically begging to be allowed to.
"Honey," Mrs. Fields began, "You won’t be able to even get her to stir for another five minutes." Bekki pulled him into a kitchen chair, and pulled out a pitcher of lemonade, stepping over Tori as she did so. They sat their, sipping lemonade and waited until Tori picked herself off the floor. When, she finally did he threw her arms around her, and the two skipped off. They claimed they had to study together.

Druins (part 8)

This is the next part! (Duh!)

"Hey Genie!" Tori smiled, "Can you come help me choose the snack I should make?" Genie grabbed her hand and skipped to the pantry. Tori gave David a we need to be alone look, and ran off claiming he needed to find Trenton.
"You’re going to try to tell him aren’t you?" Tori accused.
"What are you talking about?" Genie asked.
"You know perfectly well what I’m talking about!"
"I’d never even consider it!"
"But last time you two were alone"
"Just trust me okay!" Genie snapped. Tori rolled her eyes and was about to go to the closet when Genie’s voice called her back, "I heard the scary story you told Bekki last night!" Tori turned on her toes faster than a rabbit with a wolf behind her.
"I believe your story!" Genie continued. Tori gave her a suspicious look. Genie shrugged and slid past her to the pantry. She grabbed a bag of chips, and was about to grab a chip when Tori grabbed the bag from her.
"Do you believe my story?" Tori asked. Her eyes were searching Genie’s face for the answer.
"Yeah," Genie confessed, "Where is Dr. Druin’s lab?" Tori shrugged.
"I guess it would be in the Druin book!" Tori giggled. She was so happy Bekki believed her, and was oblivious to any plans that might be forming in her little evil head. Genie giggled at Tori, and skipped off to leave Tori eating chips mindlessly.
"Oh, Hey David!" Genie cheered as she left the kitchen, and David entered it.
"What’s up?" David asked. His eyebrows were furred and he looked troubled. Tori gave him a suspicious look, and assured him that nothing was wrong or the matter despite that she had kicked him out of the kitchen only a few moments ago. He went up and gave her a bear hug from behind.
"You can tell me," he murmured and kissed her on the cheek for the second time that day. She brushed him off and turned around.
"I’m telling you there’s nothing wrong!" Tori argued. David raised his eyebrows but accepted Tori’s complaint. Trenton entered the kitchen. His eyes grew wide when he saw David, and before David could tell him to go away Trenton had grabbed his arm, and was pulling him toward his room. Tori laughed and sat down to begin on her homework. Meanwhile, Genie was tearing up her parent’s room to find the big book of Druins, but it was no where to be found. She sighed, and walked out of the room slightly disappointed. She turned around and noticed the mess she had made.
"Tori!" she screamed.
"What?" came a reply from downstairs.
"Come here!" Genie yelled. The sound of footsteps came from the stairs, and Genie saw Tori heading up the stairs. Tori was about five feet from Genie, when Genie dashed down the hall, and left Tori standing speechless next to Genie’s parent’s room. Tori looked inside the master bedroom, and saw a giant mess of clothes, books, shoes, and other miscellaneous objects.
"GENIE!" she screamed. Two heads popped out of Trenton’s bedroom, but nothing from Genie’s room. The two guys walked out of Trenton’s room, and confronted boiling Tori. Her face was red, and she was shaking fiercely.
"Calm, Calm, Calm," Trenton nearly begged.
"You know what?" David smiled, "I’ll clean it up!" Tori shot him a glance, and slapped him on the cheek, hard. She turned and marched into the bedroom, and began cleaning. David shook off the slap, and rubbed his cheek. Trenton shook his head at David.
"What?" David asked.
"You never ask a girl if you can help when she’s that mad," Trenton chided. Davis looked bewildered. Trenton walked into the bedroom, and when David turned around to see Trenton and Tori shaking hands. Moments later Trenton and Tori were both cleaning. David was bewildered.
"Even I know that!" came a voice from behind David. He turned around to see Genie standing there, smiling. Davis looked stunned.
"We need to talk," she stated simply, and grabbing his wrist she pulled him down the hall to her room.

Druins (part 7)

The final bell of the day rang, and Bekki couldn't help but jump with joy. After some strang looks she slid in her chair, embarrassed. Tori silently giggled behind her, and David started choking on the water he was drinking. Tori walked over and gave him a shove on his stomach. He was fine, but it was Bekki's turn to laugh. The class filled out of the classroom, and the trio walked to the crosswalk.
"What are your plans for tonight?" Tori asked after she stopped laughing.
"I have to babysit Genie, but I really need to go to the mall!" Bekki complained.
"I'm just doing homework," David sighed. Tori rubbed his sholder, and was very careful to bend her hand so she wouldn't hurt him.
"Why do you need to go to the mall?" she asked.
"I need to get some gym shoes," Bekki sighed. Tori looked at her thoughtfully for a second as the group finally got the ok to cross the street.
"I'll do it!" Tori practically scremed once they got to the other side. Bekki gave her a suspicious look, but accepted the fact to be true.
"Can I help?" David asked. Bekki rolled her eyes and nodded. Trenton practically worshiped David, and David couldn't get enough of the little guy. Her mom wouldn't care. The only thing she had to worry about was Genie possibly slipping to David about Druins. Bekki didn't think it was to much of a worry though since Mrs. Fields had made her promise not to tell either. Their wasn't much danger in telling someone like David, but if any scientists or reporters found out about Druins they would all be packed up and sent to a labrotory for testing. The possibility of a zoo life wasn't far off either. The trio trekked the four blocks to Bekki's house and David scrambled to the phone to let his mom know where he was. Tori sat down at the kitchen table, and watched Bekki make some coffee.
"How long have you been dating?" Bekki asked cautiously. Tori thought for a second.
"I'd say about a 5 months," she admitted as if it was a bad thing.
"Do you care about him?" Bekki responded.
"Well, he's been our friend for like ever, so I guess I do!" Tori blushed.
"I meant do you care for him as your boyfriend?" Bekki scoffed. Tori turned even redder.
"Well, kinda!" Tori squealed, and Bekki gave her a "tell me the truth" look.
"Okay!" Tori confessed, "I don't really see him as a boyfriend more of a boy who's your friend that I just so happen to kiss now and then!"
"You're so bad!" Bekki gently chided as she patted Tori on her back. David entered the room, and sat down at the table beside Tori before Bekki could ask any more. Bekki looked upset, and Tori looked like Christmas had come early.
"Oh!" came a cool voice from the doorway, "They're here!" Bekki turned around to see her little sister in the doorway. Her hands were on her hips for a second, but they dropped quickly and she now looked like she had remebered sometthing that made Tori her best friend. Genie ran across the room and threw her arms around Tori's neck. Tori's hand flew to her neck.
"She's not strangling me!" she said in awe. Everyone's jaw dropped except Genie's.
"I would never strangle you!!" Genie giggled, and let go of Tori's neck. Everyone knew that last time she had tried to hug any Druin(except Mrs. Fields) she had tried to strangle them. Bekki, recovering from the shock of it all, told Genie her friends were in charge while she ran out to the mall. After mouthing to Tori to be careful of Genie she ran out of the house. Genie looked around the room, and smiled.

Creepy huh??

Druins(part 6)

And the next part:

"School can be a drag!" Tori moaned. Bekki rolled her eyes. Tori always started every school day with some sort of complaint.
"Hey Guys!!" they heard a voice from behind yell.
"Oh! Hey David!" Bekki greeted. Tori nodded and stuck her head in her locker. David and Bekki laughed. A bell rang from above their heads. Tori pulled her head out of her locker, and the three trudged toward homeroom.
"Hello girls.....David!" Ms. Thatcher greeted. After making some small talk the trio took their seats, and the morning announcements begun.
"There is a basketball game in the school gym right after school. All who wish to attend need to tell their HR teachers immediately!" the pricipal's voice croaked over the intercom. Nobody in the classroom moved. Ms. Thatcher sighed. She had always hated her student's lack of care for school functions. After homeroom was Science, and the trio left the classroom in silence.
"Do we even have a basketball team?" Tori asked, breaking the silence.
"She's back to normal!" David cried kissing her on the cheek. Tori blushed, and murmered something about against school policies. Bekki couldn't help from laughing when Tori kissed him moments later. Bekki started to turn into the Science Hall, but Tori and David were too busy staring at each other to notice their turn so she ran back, and pushed them down the Science Hall to their class.
"Maybe your power is strength!" Tori commented thoughtlessly.
"Her what?" David asked.
"Nothing!" Tori squealed, and threw her hands over her mouth.
"We were playing this game last night!" Bekki lied, "We were guessing which super-powers we would have if we could have them!"
"I don't want anyone to know what Bekki chose for me!" Tori squealed, catching on very quickly. David eyed Bekki and Tori suspiciously for a secondm but shook it off. The 2 min. warning bell rang, and the trio scurrried into the Science room.

Sorry today's is so short! but its the best stopping point for now! Today's story was just to introduce David!!

Druins (part 5)

I finally thought orf the next part!!

Trenton ran to the car and took his place in the passenger seat. Bekki sighed. Now she was going to be stuck in the back with Genie. Tori climbed in the back, and after a moments hesitation she too climbed in. She wished she could ride on the trunck, or maybe on the roof. Was she too big to lay on the dashboard?? Mrs. Fields and Genie came out of the house last, and Bekki watched as her sister walked to the car and gave Bekki and Tori a nasty look. She climbed in and waited as her mom got in the car and backed out of te driveway. Genie started humming a song she had made up forever ago that was all about her hate of Druins, Bekki, Tori, magic, and bunnies. It could get really mean at times. Now was one of those times, too! As soon as she was done she took to poking, and pushing Bekki into Tori who knew what was happening and tried her best not to kill Genie. Bekki would push her back, but she was to nice to ever really do it. Tori reached over Bekki's sholder and waved her hand over Genie's sholder! Genie's sholder suddenly turned hot and red. Bekki silently giggled. After consoling her sholder, Genie smacked her sister upside her head. Bekki fell forward, and Genie took those few seconds to do the same to Tori. Trenton and Mrs. Fields turned around to see Genie blowing on her sholder, Bekki sitting on the floor and rubbing the back of her head, and Tori trying to squeeze out of the space between her, and Mrs. Fields' seats. Mrs. Fields pulled over, and as if it was an impulse Trenton and Genie switched seats. Tori finally squeezed out of her uncomftroble seatng, and Bekki took her seat. Both girls buckeled up this time. When they finnaly got to Bruster's Bekki took her siblings, and Tori's order while they went to the field behind the ice cream stand to get a good spot. Mrs. Fields left to go pick up Mr. Fields from the airport. While Bekki got her ice cream Genie took the opportunity to talk to Tori.

"I heard your scary story earlier," Genie confessed.
"Really??" Tori asked. She had always had a blind spot when it came to Genie.
"Yeah!" Genie smiled, "It was really scary!" A smile broke over Tori's face. She had never had someone call her story scary before.
"Where did you come up with such a scary story?" Genie asked.
"Its in Chapter 55 of The History of Druins" Tori admitted. She kind of wish she had made it up herself. Genie nodded and was about to say something when Trenton told them to stop blabbering and help him find a spot. Genie sighed as Tori ran off to help Trenton. Genie walked over to the spot they picked and sat down. Tori waved at something behind her. Genie turned around to see what it was, and there was Bekki holding a tray with for cups on it. Bekki quickly walked over.
"A serbet for Tori, a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough for Genie, a Strawberry for Trenton, and Cookies 'n' Cream for me!" she smiled as she handed everyone their respective cups, "I feel like a waitress!" Genie scowled and ate her ice cream. When the group was finished they waited out front on the Ice Cream stand for Mrs. Fields to show up. When she finally did, all four of the kids crammed themselves in the back. Genie was shoved in between Tori and Bekki, but they were so stuffed their wasn't room to sneeze. When they got home Genie shoved Bekki out of the car, and slide out herself. Tori rolled her eyes and helped her friend up. The two girls ran up to the loft and settled down to watch some TV before it was time for the girls to go to bed. Finally, Mrs. Fields yelled up that it was time for Tori to go home, or both of them needed to go to sleep. After all, they needed to be bright and happy for the next day at school!! Bekki pulled out blankets and pillows, and the two girls curled up, and went to sleep.

These pictures show how I think the characters of Druins look like! Their personalities don't match up at all though. If Trenton acted anything like Momiji we'de be in trouble!! Right now I only know of two more big characters entering the story!! One gives a bit of romance to the story and one is the main vilian of the story. (Suprise! Suprise! Genie isn't the evilest person in the story!) but that's all i'm going to tell you for now!!

Druins (part 4)

I just couldn't resist another entry in the story!

"Long...long ago there was a mad scientist by the name of Dr. Druin," Tori began. Bekki sighed. Her friend had told her stories on how the first Druins were made so many times she could almost guess how they differed each time. She gave Bekki an evil look and continued with her story.
"DR. Druin was a very mad scientist, and he enjoyed cloning and cross breeding every sort of creature you could ever think of. Well, one day Dr. Druin can upon a set of twins who were going to a convention and decided that they would be the perfect specimen for his new experiment, and after some persuasion the girls came easily. Well, Dr. Druin took some extract of Fairy, extract of Dwarf, and extract of Dwarf and put them in a large container. Well, one of the twins had to make a call and ran off to use the Doctor's phone while the doctor finished the mixing. He poured three glasses of the new extract. There was one for himself, and one for each girl. Well, the Doctor and the second twin drank their extracts. Dr. Druin then had to run off to get some lab equipment for the tests he needed to perform. Meanwhile, the second twin decided that since the first drink was so good, she had to take her sister's drink as well. When the scientist got back he found all of the glasses empty, and the secnd twin fessed up to drinking it as soon as she was asked. Well, the first twin came back, found her glass empty and, not knowing what the drink was was okay with it... until the testing came back. The tests proved that even though the second twin looked completly normal she now had the power to teleport herself or anyone else to any specific place on earth. The first twin was outraged and demanded that another glass be made for her, but only the dwarf, and giant extracts were left. THe doctor made her a drink of the two, but it was no use! THe girl just ended up being tall and having a sworn back against her sister. She even made a prophicy that her descendents would come back and kill any and all Druins that breathed. Well, the second twin ended up marrying Dr.Druin and all of their descendents that had magic were then called Druins, but they were never truly happy because they had to constantly watch their backs in fear of the first twin!" Tori finished. Bekki looked up at her friend.
"THat was the worst horror story you've ever told me," Bekki confessed.
"Well, it may not be a horror story, but its true. My mom told it to me!" Tori pouted. She was clearly upset Bekki didn't find her story scary.
"Okay. I'll believe its true!" Bekki said in an attempt to make her friend smile again. Tori smiled and gave her friend a light punch. Tori knew her friend was doubting it, but she decided that that would be her little secret. The doorbell rang and Bekki and Tori rushed to the front hall. Genie and Trenton were theree a few seconds later. Bekki accepted the pizza and Trenton handed over the money that had been laying on the counter. The foursome went over to the table, and the pizzas were gone in seconds. Mrs. Fields entered the kitchen.
"THere any chance you saved me anything?" she laughed. Trenton grabbed a small, unopened box and threw it to his mom. She caught it easily, and opened it.
"Calzone," she said nodding with approval. She waved her hand over it, and another calzone laid in the box. Mrs. Fields had those calzones gone in no time, and the group headed for the car. It was time for ice cream, and there was no way anyone was going to miss it!

Druins (part 3)

Here's the next part!

Tori continued to wave her hand over her cookie. A spark of fire flashing over the cookie now and then. Bekki just sat there miserably watching her friend's new found power. Then, just as a spark flew over the cookie Bekki's sister, Genie walked in the kitchen. She gave the spark an udder look of disgust. Tori threw her arms around Genie.
"You saw it! You saw it! You saw it!" Tori screamed excitedly. Bekki laughed as a look of disgust spread over her sister's face. Genie had always hated her sister and Tori for getting the Druin trait when she had not. Tori let go of Genie, and she instantly started yelling at her. Mrs. Fields stopped her after about 30 seconds and sent her to the room Genie and Bekki shared.
"Okay Girls!" Mrs. Fields said, "I have a tea party to attend so Bekki you're in charge of Genie and Trenton when he gets home!" Bekki nodded, and pushed a button on the coffee maker. Mrs. Fields turned and left. Tori set her cookie sparking again.
"Want to spend the night?" Bekki asked.
"What are you having for dinner?" Tori responded.
"We're going to order pizza and then go out for ice cream!" Bekki joked, knowing what her friend thought of pizza and ice cream.
"I'll be here!" Tori exclaimed, "I'm going to grab my stuff and do my homework!" She ran out of the kitchen. Bekki ran upstairs to her room and grabbed her blanket, a set of PJs and a flashlight. Genie was in the bathroom. Thank goodness! Bekki thought. Genie was probably in a bad mood, and she didn't want to mess with her. When she got downstairs Trenton was sitting at the counter helping himself to the none chared cookie.
"Hola!" he said.
"Wilkomen!" Bekki greeted.
"German?"
"Si!" Bekki laughed. Trenton joined in. Bekki had always gotten along with her brother. She poured herself a cup of coffee and pulled out her homework. "Stupid Geometry!" she thought. Her brother went upstairs. Bekki was just about to start Geometry when her little sister showed up.
"Genie upstairs!" Bekki scolded determined to do her homework before Tori came back.
"You're blanket is gone!" Genie announced, ignoring her sister's command.
"I know!" Bekki awnsered annoyed.
"is Tori spending the night?"
"Yes! And we're sleeping in the loft!"
Genie danced happily and ran back upstairs. Bekki turned back to her homework and drank the rest of her coffee. She shoved her now completed homework in her bag, and called the pizza place. Tori entered the kitchen.
"Let's go!' Tori giggled. The girls ran into the living room where a wooden ladder was plastered to a wall. Bekki went first, and folded the futon into a very comfy queen-sized bed. Tori threw up both her and Bekki's stuff and Bekki caught them. Tori climbed up after everything wlse was up. The loft was an interesting room. The outside wall was tilted inward and all the walls were a dark blue. There was a railing where you could overlook the living room and kitchen. The floor was a black linolium, and there was a mini fridge with a microwave in one corner. There was a big futon in the middle of the room that could be a couch, recliner, or bed. There was a projector on one wall and a screen on the other. The projector projected both TV and computer signals depending on what channel you were tuned too. Bekki's parents were looking into making this her room since Genie had almost killed her twice in her sleep. Bekki personally didn't care since she thought Genie, however insane she might be didn't have the smarts or the guts to actually kill her.
"Hey Bekki!" Tori called pulling Bekki out of her thoughts. She had a secretive smile on here face like she had a secrest she couldn't wait to tell.
"Let's tell horror stories until the pizza guy comes," Tori said. She now looked like Christmas had come early. Bekki sighed. Tori could look pretty scary when she was about to tell scary story, but Bekki had never heard Tori tell a story that scary.
"Ok, Tori," Bekki awnsered as she laid down on the futon. Tori giggled and began her story.

Druins (part 2)

Bekki trudged in the kitchen. Her best friend Tori was at her heels. The two girls looked like they had been up for 48 hours straight.
"Hi.... mom" Bekki yawned.
"Hey, Mrs. Fields," Tori yawned in an attempt to be lively, but was to tired to even pretend. Bekki's mom laughed as the two girls fell in the nearest chairs and were asleep in seconds. Bekki's mom turned back to her cooking and pulled some cookies out of the oven. Tori woke up with a start.
"Cookies?" she said sleepily. Mrs. Fields nodded and laughed some more. If Mrs. Fields knew anything about young Druins it was that they loved cookies... and coffee. Tori shoved Bekki so she drudgingly woke up.
"Cookies!" she yelled, and the two ran across the kitchen. Their tiredness was forgotten. The cookies were gone in a few minutes, well... all except one. Bekki gave her mom big babydoll eyes.
"Please mommy!" she said in perfect imatation of her younger sister. Mrs. Fields waved her hand over the remaining cookie and a second appeared on the plate.
"Thank You!" Tori giggled. Bekki looked admiringly at her mother's handy craft.
" I wonder what my power will be," she sighed.
"I have a feeling on what mine will be," Tori giggled. This was news to Bekki and she watched as her friend waved her hand over her cookie. The cookie had a flicker of fire pass over cookie.
"Feel it!" Tori exclaimed. Bekki touched the cookie and quickly pulled her hand off.
"Hot!" she yelled slightly annoyed. Tori's face broke in a smile.
"I've got fire!" she yelled. Tori's family was famous for their control over elements and it wasn't a big suprise to anyone that her power was fire. You could even tell by looking at her that if she had to have an element firewould be it. She had her long, dark brown hair pulled into two pigtails at the bottom of her hair line. Each had red highlights streaming down the pony tails. She had two sweat bands on her wrists each black with red strips. She had on an AC/DC shirt and a pair of supper baggy jeans. Her all black shoes had ollie marks covering the toes. Bekki sighed. She watched as her friend tried to set fire to her cookie and wondered what her power might be.
